This study aims to analyze the principles of wise social media engagement based on the teachings of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad saw, as a foundation for digital ethics from an Islamic perspective. The research employs a qualitative approach using thematic (maudhu‘i) analysis of hadiths related to communication ethics and social behavior, complemented by content analysis to contextualize the messages of the hadith within contemporary digital realities. The findings identify four operational hadith-based digital ethical principles: (1) information integrity, manifested in the obligation of tabayyun to counter hoaxes and misinformation; (2) control of digital expression, emphasizing the prohibition of destructive anger and hate speech; (3) public communication etiquette, encompassing guidance to speak kindly, avoid ghibah, and uphold mutual dignity; and (4) social responsibility, namely the obligation to disseminate benefit and avoid content that causes social harm. The contribution of this study lies in the formulation of the “Islamic Digital Wisdom” model as a comprehensive digital ethics framework that integrates hadith values into the dynamics of modern cyberspace as a moral solution for social media users.
2025-12-26T16:09:59+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 Al-Bukhari : Jurnal Ilmu Hadishttp://journal.iainlangsa.ac.id/index.php/bukhari/article/view/12594Implementing Hadith Values in Addressing the Hustle Culture Phenomenon in Society2026-01-01T13:12:03+08:00Suadi wijaya gunaSuadi1928@gmail.comUswatun Hasanahuswatunhasanah_uin@radenfatah.ac.idSofia Hayatisofia_uin@radenfatah.ac.id
Abstrak

Maraknya hustle culture yang terdapat di Indonesia memicu peluang negatif yang bisa memberikan dampak terhadap masyarakat ataupun individu. In Islam, such activities are not only related to physical cleanliness but also to moral values and ethics emphasized in the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The purpose of this study is to analyze the proper manners and recommended practices for using the bathroom as stated in the Prophet’s hadiths, such as supplicating before entering, entering with the left foot, maintaining modesty, and following appropriate procedures when entering and leaving the bathroom. Through an examination of these hadiths, this study seeks to explore the deeper meanings behind Islamic teachings that regulate human behavior in everyday situations. The analysis is conducted by reviewing the religious, moral, and social contexts of each relevant hadith in order to understand why Islam places cleanliness and propriety as integral parts of faith. This research employs a qualitative approach based on library research to collect data. The approach involves engaging with relevant literature and ideas to draw conclusions. Muslims may gain new insights from the results of this study regarding the importance of good manners in all aspects of life, even in matters that may seem trivial, such as using the bathroom. Thus, this study affirms that both physical and spiritual cleanliness are tangible manifestations of the faith and discipline of a Muslim who strives to comprehensively follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
2026-01-12T11:58:57+08:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-Bukhari : Jurnal Ilmu Hadishttp://journal.iainlangsa.ac.id/index.php/bukhari/article/view/13018Review of Hadith Criticism on the Phenomenon of Aurat in Generation Z’s Dance Content on Social Media2026-01-12T12:33:46+08:00Fatimatus Zahrofatimatuszhr05@gmail.comHasnia Imroatis Syarifah220101110003@student.uin-malang.ac.id
The dance challenge phenomenon on social media platforms such as TikTok has become a popular trend among Generation Z, while also raising moral and spiritual issues concerning the boundaries of entertainment from an Islamic perspective. Many young people perceive entertainment as a form of freedom of expression without considering the values of manners (adab) and ethics taught by the Prophet Muhammad. This study aims to examine the meaning of hadiths on entertainment and pleasure in Islam, describe the dance challenge phenomenon and the behavior of Generation Z on social media, analyze such behavior from the perspective of hadith, and explore the relevance of prophetic teachings to the challenges of contemporary digital life. Using a library research method with a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected from thematic hadiths, classical and contemporary Islamic literature, as well as recent studies on the digital behavior of young people. The findings reveal that entertainment in Islam is not absolutely prohibited but should remain within the limits of moderation (wasathiyah) and the principles of sharia. The hadiths emphasize the importance of balance between physical and spiritual needs and warn against entertainment that involves immorality (ma‘siat), tabarruj, or digital ostentation (riya’). The dance challenge can be positive when directed toward creative and educational expression but becomes negative when it violates Islamic moral norms. Therefore, the hadith serves as an ethical guideline for young Muslims to enjoy digital entertainment in a healthy, refined, and spiritually meaningful way.
2026-01-12T12:29:32+08:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-Bukhari : Jurnal Ilmu Hadis
