Abstract
Ideally, the methodology of philosophical research serves as a foundation for rational and critical thinking in unraveling life’s problems; however, in reality, philosophy is often regarded as abstract and distant from actual issues. This study aims to affirm the role of philosophical methodology as a conceptual instrument in understanding and providing direction for contemporary problems. The methodology employed is library research with an analytical-critical qualitative approach, utilizing primary sources from classical and modern philosophical works, as well as secondary sources from recent academic studies. The findings indicate that the methodology of philosophical research, through systematic steps such as concept clarification, argument analysis, and critical reflection, can make a tangible contribution in bridging the gap between the ideality of philosophy and social reality, while also offering conceptual solutions relevant to contemporary dynamics.
