Author Guidelines

General requirements

Manuscripts submitted to Asnaf : Journal of economic welfare, Philantrophy, zakat and waqf must be research papers or review papers that have not been published or are being considered elsewhere.
Manuscripts must be in English. It must be typed in MS Word doc. format; using a 12-pt Palatino Linotype; the left, right, top and bottom margins are 2.2 cm; 1.15 spacing on A4 size paper; 4500-7500 words.
Manuscripts will be reviewed by subject reviewers, while editors reserve the right to edit manuscripts for format consistency without changing substance.
Make sure that the manuscript is prepared using the Article Template.
Manuscripts must be submitted via the ASNAF (OJS) website. For confirmation, Cover Letter & Statement of Originality must be sent to the Journal Editor's email ([email protected])
Citations and references must follow the style of the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition and use Reference Management Software.
Manuscripts should be checked in terms of grammar, structure, spelling, etc. It is recommended to use the Grammarly Checker Software (http://app.grammarly.com).

Paper Type
Asnaf : Journal of economic welfare, Philantrophy, zakat and waqf accepts manuscripts in original research papers and review papers.

Original research papers, i.e. articles that report detailed research and are classified as primary literature. The format includes introduction and background of the problem, literature review and hypothesis development, research methods, results, interpretation of findings, discussion, and conclusions. Paper length is generally between 4500-7500 words.
Review papers, namely articles that present current reports and discussions on current economic welfare, philantrophy, zakat dan waqf. It discusses previous developments of the topic and provides an overview of the future. The format includes an introduction and is followed by the required subsections. In general, a review paper usually consists of 3000-6000 words, depending on the case being reviewed. Example of a review paper: A Critical Review of the zakat of professions Concept

General Structure of Original Research

Paper Identity
The title of the paper should be concise and informative. It should be precise with the issue at hand and should be no more than 15 words. The title is followed by the author's name, affiliation, and email. The author's name must be written without an academic degree.

Abstract
The abstract should be clear and informative, and should be in one paragraph. The abstract should briefly describe your entire paper. Starting with the research gap, then continuing with the research objectives, methodology, main results, and contribution of findings. The abstract must stand alone, meaning that there are no citations or no references in the abstract. The abstract should tell potential readers what the author did and highlight key findings. Avoid using technical jargon and unfamiliar abbreviations. After the abstract, 3-5 well-chosen keywords that are closely related to the research topic should be provided.

introduction
The introduction to a research paper should clearly state the purpose of the paper. This includes key references to appropriate work. This states the significant contribution of the research. The introduction should consist of the research background, research context, research gaps, and research objectives (at the end of the introduction). The introduction should demonstrate the scientific merit or novelty of the paper. All introductions should be presented in paragraph form, not pointers, and with a proportion of 15-20% of the overall length of the article. The introduction should also represent the theoretical core of the research article. It includes a review of the related literature in an essay style. The purpose of the literature review is to “review” (review) what previous researchers have done regarding the topic of the article. Thus, in the literature review, researchers must critically evaluate, rearrange and synthesize the work of previous researchers, then proceed with the formulation of hypotheses (if any). This section shows you a roadmap for your research. Then proceed by explicitly stating the uniqueness or difference of your paper compared to previous studies.

method
The method section consists of a description of the research design, selection of samples and data sources, research instruments, data collection, and data analysis (variable measurement) with a proportion of 10-15% of the total length of the article, all of which are presented in the form of paragraphs.

Results
The results obtained from the research must be supported by adequate data. Research results and discoveries must be the answer
