Abstract
Al-illah merupakan sifat yang jelas (wasf zahir), terukur (mundhabit), memiliki hubungan dengan hukum yang ditetapkan (munashabah li al-hukm), kemudian al-hikmah sebaliknya. al-illah merupakan aspek pola pikir yang cenderung menerapkan pola pikir deduktif/bayaniy kemudian metodenya dominan metode dialektika sementara itu teorinya mengadopsi teori ruju’ ila ashliyin mu’ayyin. Jika merujuk kepada konsep kausalitas dari Plato ia tergolong kepada causa legis. Sementara itu al-hikmah pada aspek pola pikir menerapkan pola pikir induktif/burhaniy kemudian metodenya dominan metode demonstartif/istiqra’i. Teori yang diterapkan dengan konsep al-hikmah adalah teori ruju’ ila ashliyah al-kulliyah. Dan jika merujuk kepada konsep kausalitas dari Plato ia tergolong kepada causa finalis. Selanjutnya al-illah berfungi dominan untuk menerapkan metode qiyas dalam penetapan hukum Islam sementara itu konsep al-hikmah cenderung berfungsi untuk mempermudah menerapkan maqashid syar’iyah dalam penetapan hukum Islam.
