Abstract

Kebutuhan akan peningkatan mutu pembelajaran dalam konteks literasi sains menjadi tantangan bagi peserta didik dan pendidik. Rendahnya kemampuan literasi sains di Indonesia berdasarkan data PISA menjadi tantangan untuk bagi guru maupun dosen dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik. Banyak penelitian mengenai peningkatan literasi sains yang dilakukan dan memiliki hasil yang signifikan, tetapi belum ada yang melihat peningkatan literasi sains dari setiap dimensi dari literasi sains itu sendiri. Penelitian ini akan menginformasikan bagaimana peningkatan literasi sains setiap dimensi pada pembelajaran project yang diterapkam pada mahasiswa. penelitian ini meripakan penelitian eksperimen untuk melihat peningkatan hasil literasi sains mahasiswa melalui data pretest dan posttest. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis uji T. berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan Semua dimensi mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan. Nilai Sig. pada ketiga dimensi = 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa antara penerapan model PjBL memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada peningkatan literasi sains pada setiap dimensi dari literasi sains.
