INSPIRA: Indonesian Journal of Psychological Research is a biannual open-access journal that accepts empirical research articles on any psychology-related topic and any research method (experimental, observational, ethnographic, survey, or interpretive) that fits within an Islamic context. The journal publishes a wide range of articles in Islamic contexts, including but not limited to research in Muslim populations, prevention and intervention of behavioral and mental health issues in Islamic traditions, and forth. The name "Indonesian Journal" informs that this journal comes from Indonesia, the country with the the largest Muslim population in the world.
The journal publishes articles of interest to scholars, practitioners, scientists, and researchers interested in psychological and mental health issues. The goal is to promote and interchange the concepts and ideas developed in this area of study by publishing relevant, peer-reviewed scientific information and discussion. This will help behavioral and mental health practitioners advance their knowledge for greater benefit and output in their professional contexts.

From Volume 4, Issue 1 (2023), onwards, INSPIRA: Indonesian Journal of Psychological Research prioritizes research papers carried out in family and community settings, particularly in Muslim societies. It is expected that the psychological issues above can be explored scientifically, and in the end, the quality of mental health in society can continually be improved.
