This journal provides an avenue for academics, including lecturers and students, as well as other contributors involved in community service. The published articles are the results of real activities that have been carried out and presented in the form of scientific papers. With a multidisciplinary scope, this journal accepts submissions from various fields such as religion, humanities, science and technology, and environmental studies, which are expected to be linked to the fields of economics and business.</p> <p>Every manuscript submitted to this journal undergoes a rigorous review process by competent experts in the relevant fields. The selection of published articles is based on the quality of writing, originality, and their contribution to the development of knowledge, particularly in the areas of economics and business or Islamic economics and business within the context of community service. Thus, this journal serves as an academic platform for disseminating scientific and impactful community service findings.</p> <p>SEURAYA Journal is published twice a year, in April and October. It operates under an open-access policy, allowing anyone to access information and insights related to community service. The journal is managed and published by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Langsa, Aceh, Indonesia. Various efforts have been made by local governments, both central and regional, in managing this waste. One of the activities of waste utilization can be through education and processing. The purpose of this community service activity is to educate the youth community of Paya Peunaga Village about the dangers of waste to the environment, coastal ecosystems and humans, as well as provide counseling on the use of plastic waste that can have economic value. The methods used in this activity are counseling and demonstration. Educational activities utilize plastic waste from surrounding coastal areas into recyclables such as plastic waste into flowers and keychains. Kolaborasi sosial adalah salah satu cara efektif untuk memperkuat hubungan antar komunitas agama<strong>. </strong>Samosir adalah contoh nyata dari masyarakat yang berhasil memelihara harmoni dalam keberagaman. Toleransi antaragama, kolaborasi sosial, dan penghormatan terhadap budaya serta tradisi lokal menjadi fondasi utama dalam menjaga kerukunan. Keragaman yang ada tidak dilihat sebagai pemisah, melainkan sebagai kekayaan yang memperkaya kehidupan sosial dan budaya masyarakat Desa Tumbun Sukkean Samosir. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metodologi PAR, Pendekatan PAR memungkinkan penelitian yang lebih inklusif dan transformatif, memberikan suara kepada komunitas yang sering kali terpinggirkan dalam proses penelitian tradisional. Dengan menggabungkan tindakan nyata dan refleksi, PAR berpotensi untuk menghasilkan perubahan sosial yang berarti dan berkelanjutan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini memperlihatkan bahwa Desa Tambun Sukkean Pulau Samosir dihuni oleh berbagai kelompok etnis, dengan mayoritas penduduknya berasal dari suku Batak Toba. Namun, di pulau ini juga terdapat komunitas dari berbagai agama, termasuk Kristen, Islam, Hindu, dan kepercayaan lokal Parmalim. Keragaman ini menciptakan dinamika sosial yang unik dan kaya.
