Abstrak


Generasi Z merupakan generasi yang paling dekat dengan penggunaan teknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya termasuk dalam pemenuhan transaksi keuangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh theory of consumption value terhadap minat generasi z dalam menggunakan layanan mobile banking syariah dan konvensional. Metode partial least squares (PLS) untuk menguji hipotesis dengan bantuan software Smartpls v3. Populasi penelitian ini adalah generasi Z yang menggunakan layanan perbankan syariah dan konvensional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 136 orang. Penelitian ini menghasilkan ksesimpulan bahwa theory of consumption value memiliki dampak yang sama terhadap minat generasi Z dalam menggunakan layanan mobile banking baik konvensional maupun syariah. Nilai kondisional dan emosional sama-sama mempengaruhi minat dalam menggunakan layanan mobile banking syariah dan konvesional. Sedangkan nilai epistemik dan fungsional sama-sama tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat generasi Z dalam menggunakan layanan mobile banking syariah dan konvesional. Nilai sosial memiliki hasil yang berbeda yaitu tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat menggunakan layanan mobile banking syariah, namun berpengaruh terhadap minat menggunakan layanan mobile banking konvensional. Implikasi penelitian ini bahwa layanan mobile banking syariah harus memiliki layanan yang sama dengan mobile banking konvensional. Pengembangan layanan bank syariah khususnya mobile banking syariah harus didasarkan theory of consumption value.
