The At-Tafkir Journal is a journal published by IAIN Langsa. This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing articles in this journal, namely the author, editor-in-chief, editor / editor, best-partner and publisher.

IAIN Langsa as the publisher of the At-Tafkir Journal is responsible and committed to ensuring that advertising, reprints or other commercial revenues do not have an impact or influence on the editor's decision. 

Task Editor / Editor

  • Publication Decision

Editor / Editor of the At-Tafkir Journal, is responsible for deciding articles that must be published based on input from the results of reviews conducted by bestari partners. Editors can negotiate with bestari partners in making this decision.

  • Principles of Justice

o Editors / editors evaluate manuscripts / articles regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the author.

o The editor will ensure the article is in accordance with the focus / scope of the scientific journal. The response from bestari partners will be the basis for the Editor to determine whether an article can be accepted (accepted), accepted with a revision (accepted with major / minor revision), or rejected (rejected).

o An article is refused to be published due to various considerations, including because the article is not in accordance with the scope of this Journal, the scientific side of the writing is not sufficient to be classified in a scientific writing, fundamental methodological error, or because the author refuses to do the improvement provided by bestari partners without a logical basis.

o The order of publishing is adjusted to the order in which articles and article revisions are submitted to the editorial board.

 

  • Confidentiality

The editor does not have to disclose any information about the manuscript submitted to anyone other than the author, including bestari partners.

  • Conflict of interest

Unpublished material but disclosed in the text may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.

 

 

Bestari Partner Tasks• Bestari partners help editors in making editorial decisions and through editorial communication which is then submitted to the author. Assistance provided by partner partners involves content review of a text / article.• Every text received for review must be treated as a confidential document. Manuscripts may not be displayed or discussed with others except as permitted by the editor.• Review must be carried out objectively with arguments that support according to scientific rules. Author's Duty• The author writes the script / article based on accurate original research reports.• The author writes every reference used in the text according to the rules of scientific writing.• The author must ensure that the manuscript is written free of plagiarism.• The author can ensure that the manuscript sent in the At-Tafkir Journal has never been published in other media, and is not being sent to other journals.• The author must agree on the role of each contributor in article writing and has agreed beforehand about the writing of the main author and co-author.• The author ensures that research activities are carried out in accordance with the code of ethics• When the author finds a significant error or inaccuracy in the text that has been published, the author has an obligation to immediately notify the journal editor or publisher and work with the editor to withdraw or correct.
