Aims and Scope
Enlighten: Jurnal Bimbingan Konseling Islam
Enlighten publishes papers focusing on Islamic Guidance and Counseling in a broad sense: counseling models, therapeutic techniques, mental health within the Islamic context, religious and cultural influences, as well as case studies, historical perspectives, and the socio-economic impact of Islamic counseling. This journal is interdisciplinary, aiming to integrate diverse approaches for a global readership. Enlighten also emphasizes the practical impact of research on real-world practices and society, enhancing the relevance of studies that can be applied in the field. High-quality papers are welcomed across various aspects of Islamic Guidance and Counseling, including counseling planning and management, indigenous counseling methods, therapy and coaching, counseling applications in educational and clinical settings, studies in psychology and welfare, and research within religious institutions. Additionally, Enlighten encourages contemporary topics, such as digitalization in Islamic counseling and the role of technology in Islamic therapy, to enrich studies that respond to modern developments.
