About Journal

Welcome to the Open Journal System of Enlighten - We are pleased to inform you,

Enlighten: Jurnal Bimbingan Konseling Islam is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to advancing the field of guidance and counseling through the integration of Islamic and Western paradigms. Rooted in the rich cultural and spiritual traditions of Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia, this journal aims to bridge the gap between religion-based counseling practices and modern psychological theories, creating an interdisciplinary platform that connects scholars and practitioners across diverse cultural contexts. The journal publishes high-quality research that contributes to both the theoretical and practical aspects of Islamic counseling, emphasizing mental health, spiritual well-being, and the influence of cultural contexts. Enlighten explores how Islamic values can be integrated with Western psychological methods to address contemporary challenges in mental health, trauma recovery, resilience, and social justice. As an open-access journal, Enlighten ensures broad accessibility to research, particularly in the context of faith-based and multicultural counseling. The journal also explores the potential role of emerging digital technologies, such as VR, AR, and AI, in enhancing Islamic counseling practices in the future.
