Jurnal Anifa: Studi Gender dan Anak is an academic journal published by the Center for Gender and Child Studies of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M), State Institute of Islamic Studies (IAIN) Langsa, Aceh, Indonesia, in collaboration with the Community Rehabilitation and Research Center (CRRC). The journal accommodates both library-based research and empirical field studies, providing a platform for rigorous scholarly inquiry. All submitted manuscripts undergo a structured editorial process that includes initial screening, double-blind peer review, and professional editing to ensure the quality and integrity of the published work.
As a peer-reviewed journal, Jurnal Anifa: Studi Gender dan Anak is committed to advancing academic discourse in the fields of gender and child studies. It is designed to facilitate critical engagement and intellectual exchange among researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners from diverse academic backgrounds. Through this platform, the journal aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and promote the development of innovative perspectives within these areas of study.
The journal publishes articles addressing a wide range of themes such as gender and education, gender relations in public discourse, religion and gender with specific attention to Islamic contexts, feminism and gender analysis, child protection, domestic violence, children’s rights, inclusive education, and issues concerning persons with disabilities or special needs. Contributions from scholars across related disciplines are warmly welcomed, and the journal remains open to various methodological approaches and theoretical frameworks that enrich the study of gender and childhood.
